Waiting Groom

06/09/11
Here's one of my favourite images from a wedding last month. The couple were brilliant to work with and great fun. As the ceremony starts it's often a time of increased tension and contemplation. I love the solemnity and concentration on the groom's face as the entrance procession starts with the vicar walking up the aisle.I under-exposed the shot by about a stop or so and bounced flash behind me to give some extra punch to make the groom stand out from the background.
I was so glad to be able to catch this moment which was not visible to most of the guests.
